There are many schools of thought on how best to network, in the main it can heavy depend on where you network. Networking is about playing the long game, in most cases it can take many months if not years to get referrals from networking.
Networking is about people buying you before they consider buying your product or service, so it should be seen as a platform to build relationship of trust that will lead these people to buy your products or service and more importantly, to them referring your services to others that they know.
Here are ten simple ways to improve your profits, they are just some of an infinite number of measures a business can undertake.
1.Plan some SMART objectives
You should always have a business plan, it doesn't have to be a great long essay because it is the journey of discovery when compiling a plan that makes the plan valuable. Set yourself three or four objectives, they should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time driven (SMART), but you should consider the following nine points before you do.

Get to know the important figures you need, as a minimum these should be:
