We take our Corporate Social Responsibility Seriously and our environmental impact is a core consideration. Our commitment to the environment doesn’t impede on our business objectives but actually forms a significant part of it.
We ensure that our core material suppliers hold their environmental commitments in consideration of their operational activities.
We choose to invest in technology wherever possible to ensure that our operational processes focus on lean environmentally aware practices.
Our in-house processes are fully paperless however traditional paper based proposals and marketing literature is still used albeit electronic communication is always used as a preference. It is our policy to ensure that printed paper is used as scrap paper before being sent to recycling centres.
We recycle all recyclable glass, plastic, metal, paper and cardboard.
We have a steering group to continually evaluate our operational processes and to review this policy wherever possible.
Our employees and management understand and support the company environmental ambitions and we have found that adopting these goals has been financially rewarding.
We choose to embrace and develop our environmental initiatives not only because we feel that businesses in general should be held more accountable for their environmental impact, but also because it makes sound business sense.
We have joined 10:10, which is an organisation that is calling on individuals, businesses and organisations globally to cut their carbon emissions by 10% in a year, we value this initiative for quantifying a solution to global problem.
